Arrayit looking for $2.9M for precise medical scanners

Arrayit, maker of microarray scanners used in a variety of genetic, pharmaceutical and medical research and development projects, is looking to raise $2.9 million in equity, according to a filing with the SEC. Based in Sunnyvale, Calif., the company is public and trades under the symbol ARYC.
