Is he “a financier”? The participants in the comedy sketch below give a tiny bit of credence to that theory but in the grander scheme of things, posit that Soros is “a drug pusher” who wants to increase violent crime in California’s black communities by legalizing the distribution of “his poison.”

Some tipster sent Gizmodo pictures of Apple (AAPL) CEO Steve Jobs and Google (GOOG) CEO Eric Schmidt having coffee Friday outside Calafia, a restaurant in the Town and Country Shopping Center in Palo Alto, right across the street from Palo Alto High School, and not much more than a mile from Steve’s house.
Lord knows what they were talking about. Love lives? Real estate?
I liked this theoretical conversation from a commenter on the Gizmodo post, in a nice nod to The Princess Bride, one of the great geek movies of all time:
Jobs: You’ve beaten my giant, which means you’re exceptionally strong, so you could’ve put the poison in your own goblet, trusting on your strength to save you, so I can clearly not choose the coffee in front of you. But, you’ve also bested my Spaniard, which means you must have studied, and in studying you must have learned that man is mortal, so you would have put the poison as far from yourself as possible, so I can clearly not choose the coffee in front of me.
Schmidt: You’re trying to trick me into giving away something. It won’t work.

2. “Fex-M3” is the poison used by bounty hunters in the Star Wars universe for their assassination darts
3. “Tiberium” is a crystal used as raw resources in the video game series “Command & Conquer.” Tiberium is toxic, and units exposed directly to Tiberium suffer health degeneration.
