We are big fans of the speakeasy Death & Co. in NYC. Apparently the co-owner, David Kaplan is planning to take his “Sophisticated cocktail bar” into down town Los Angeles. [Via Eater]. The 2,000 square foot space with a pre-existing liquor license “deal is just about complete. Alex Day, the mixologist that made Death & Co. what it is in NYC will be moving to LA next month to head up the operation.
