And The Nominees For The MTV Movie Awards Are…

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , ,

With one of the least boring of the award shows less than a month away, the MTV Movie Awards has revealed their nominees for each of the 2010 categories. As expected, the lists of contenders for best male and female performance and best movie fall short of earth-shattering. Lots of Harry Potter and Twilight.

Let's call a spade a spade: award shows are exceedingly boring. That's just one of their inalienable properties and this one is no exception. Hopefully Kanye will be at the show to make things interesting if he hasn't been blacklisted.  Or at least someone with an out-of-this-world sense of entitlement who's feeling especially powerful courtesy of Hennessy after swaggering in with and open bottle.  Taylor Swift is nominated so brace yourself for her obligatory Kanye crack during her oh so humble acceptance if she wins.  Voting is now open so take a look at the nominees and cast your vote.
